Zane Matesoviča

Zane Matesoviča is the British Council Latvia Country Director for the 7th year. Zane's previous work experience is related to education and technology. Currently, as part of the British Council's "People to People Cultural Engagement program"' (P2P), Zane, together with her team and partners, is working together on projects that help teachers with media practice and current requirements. In addition, and as part of "The Baltic Independent Media program", in cooperation with building media club movement communities for local partners, we promote critical thinking and media literacy and provide/give impulse for local media content.

British Council promotes cultural and educational opportunities in more than 100 countries around the world. Training, workshops, local community building and support activities, festivals and cultural events are organized to involve participants of all ages from different backgrounds and communities, helping them develop the necessary skills and integrate into society, and promote open dialogue between state and local authorities.
